Guided Tour: Railway Museum, Nossa Senhora da Candelária Church and Casarão Pau Preto Museum
Public and private schools can schedule free guided tours of the historical axis of Indaiatuba.
The tour begins at the Railway Museum, where participants are welcomed at the Tourist Information Point (PIT). There, they can view the city's tourist map and the steam locomotive No. 10, a unique piece of Brazil's railway history that belonged to Emperor Dom Pedro II.
The itinerary includes stops at Largo da Igreja Matriz Nossa Senhora da Candelária, with explanations about the church and the monuments in the square, as well as visits to Casa Número 1 and Casa Paroquial.
The tour concludes at Casarão Pau Preto, where participants have the opportunity to learn about its history, explore the hallways, and appreciate furniture and period objects, along with exhibitions about its former residents.
