Italian Tradition - Event Description
In April: Grape and Wine Festival: Organized by the Associação Amigos do Bairro das Videiras, this traditional Italo-Brazilian event celebrates the grape harvest and wine production typical of the VITI region (Videiras, Itaici, Tombadouro, and Itaboraí). The festival attracts locals, visitors, and tourists for a day of Italian traditions, agricultural heritage, and cultural festivities. Participants can enjoy wine tastings featuring a variety of regional wines, explore the area aboard a "little train," and savor an array of traditional dishes such as pasta, cured meats, and homemade delicacies perfectly paired with wine. The event also includes live music, folk dances, and other cultural performances, creating a vibrant and memorable experience.
